Born and raised in Valley Stream, Frank Stalzer is the son of immigrant parents who came to America in the early 1950’s to pursue their dream of finding a better life for themselves and their family.  His father Erwin, a union ironworker for over 40 years and Emma, his homemaker mother, taught Frank the value of hard work, respect for others and the love of family.   Those values continue to shape Frank’s thinking to this very day.

After graduating from Valley Stream Central High School, Frank attended New York Institute of Technology evenings while working full time during the day.  He graduated from NYIT with a B.S. degree in Public Administration, spent a year as a Police Officer with the Port Authority of NY & NJ Police Department, and then began his career in the electronics distribution industry.

Over the past 25 years, Frank has held senior management positions with privately owned Peerless Electronics, as well as with two publicly traded corporations, Richey Electronics and Arrow Electronics. While at Arrow, Frank was one of a select group of employees chosen to attend the Harvard Business School’s General Management Program in Cambridge, Mass.  Today, Frank serves as President of Astrex Electronics, a distributor of military/aerospace interconnect products, based in Plainview, New York.

Politically speaking, Frank has been a conservative Republican his entire life, has served as a local Republican Committeeman and worked on numerous campaigns at the local, state and federal levels.  The experience that played the most formative role in Frank’s political philosophy occurred in 1988 when he served as a Long Island Coordinator in Congressman Jack Kemp’s primary campaign for the U. S. Presidency. Frank embraced the values of pro-growth, pro-family, pro-freedom and pro-life initiatives, and how there is truly no limit to what free people can do in a free society.

Frank lives in Huntington, NY with his wife Maria and her two children, Andrew, 19 & Victoria, 18.  In addition, Frank is the father of three children, Frank Jr 25, Angela 23, Jenna 18, and recently became a grandfather.
